We hosted our 14th LIVE! in Lawrenceville block party on Saturday, October 3rd and had such an incredible day! The weather was perfect and the community really showed up to support and celebrate with us.
We had a great food spread by Burghers, William Penn Tavern, Spirit Pizzeria, and ippa plus drinks from Lolev, Arsenal Cider, and Arsenal Beer Emporium. Attendees were able to bid on 10 silent auction items and try their luck at winning one of 38 raffle baskets with items donated from businesses in Lawrenceville and across the city.
We grooved to music by Arie Cole, enjoyed a Lion Dance courtesy of Steel Dragon Martial Arts, and got to spend time together as a community.
Each year we award a member of the community with the Lynn Lewandowski Neighbor of the Year Award and a business or organization with the Loretta Millinder Community Partner of the Year Award. Please read more about our winners below.

Better Streets Lawrenceville
Better Streets Lawrenceville has consistently advocated for safer streets in the neighborhood for many years now. They have advocated for safer crossings, shoveled snow from delinquent properties, and served as a place for residents to express their immediate concerns and find a group of people willing to jump into action.
They were integral in championing the Mobility Enhancement District, which is now returning over $300K annually for mobility improvements in Lawrenceville. Over the past year there has been a renewed energy in the group with new faces and new ideas to tackle and the group has been instrumental in completing a sidewalk inventory all across Lawrenceville to evaluate conditions and identify areas in need of improvement. Better Streets Lawrenceville is a monthly place where Lawrenceville community members can go, meet engaged people, and work to make their community safer for all who use Lawrenceville streets, no matter how you get around.

Michaela Robbins
Michaela Robbins is a neighbor that truly embodies the welcoming spirit of Lynn Lewandowski, whom this award is named after. Michaela is dedicated to creating an age-friendly and accessible neighborhood for all; assisting in many AdvantAGE events for our older population in the community.
She is invested in improving the quality of life for all who visit, work, and live in Lawrenceville. Michaela’s joyous spirit is infectious! Not only does she support the organization’s programming, but she models the community we are trying to build by developing close relationships with neighbors and community members of all ages and walks of life.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, our board, everyone who contributed a raffle basket or silent auction item, our food and drink vendors, and especially to everyone who attended the event for your support!
